Jung has more than 25 years of experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, and medical device training and communications. He has worked extensively with some of the largest pharmaceutical companies in the world and some of the smallest biotech start-ups bringing their first compounds to market, as well as many others in between—bringing the same commitment to client service regardless of their size or profile. Jung’s focus today is to ensure that Flywheel teams continue to exceed client needs and expectations by delivering world-class work along with a world-class experience.

Brendon joined Flywheel in 2009 after earning his PhD in Genetics from North Carolina State University. He was initially brought on as a medical writer—a role that allowed him to apply his considerable life science knowledge and sharp critical-thinking skills. Brendon leads a multidisciplinary team of over 30 full-time Flywheel employees and combines a pragmatic approach to project development, clear communication, a focus on client needs, and uncompromising quality standards. Through this approach, he has consistently distinguished himself as an expert problem solver and an outstanding team leader.

Ismar brings together a background in biomedical research, a love of clear communication, and a strategic mindset. With experience across science, education, and technology, he helps clients create compelling content and experiences for diverse audiences and situations. At Flywheel Partners, he supports a range of scientific and commercial initiatives, engaging across functions to connect ideas, align perspectives, and offer practical, creative solutions. He’s interested in how the broader health care landscape—including patient support, market access, and system-level challenges—shapes the experiences of providers and patients. Ismar earned his PhD from Northeastern University and completed a research fellowship at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.

Jeff is a solutions-oriented specialist who offers intelligent leadership, thoughtful creativity, and a profound respect for the human side of business relationships.

Lakshmi maintains a unique position at the crossroads of content and training direction, project management, and client relationship management. In her role, she combines big-picture thinking with an eye for detail to envision, craft, and deliver projects that achieve training objectives and provide meaningful learning—all while ensuring a seamless experience for clients. With expertise in a variety of disease states and therapeutic areas in the inflammation, immunology, and oncology spaces, Lakshmi has developed and managed projects across a range of brands that span some of Flywheel’s long-standing clients. Lakshmi holds an MS in Organic Chemistry from Bangalore University and a PhD in Chemistry from Stony Brook University.

Alyssa leads a cross-functional team of medical writers and project leads and manages keystone accounts for global pharmaceutical companies. With a decade of experience in science and health care communication, Alyssa has deep expertise working in the hematology oncology space. Prior to joining Flywheel, Alyssa earned her PhD in Chemistry from Stony Brook University, where she developed tracers for neural circuitry.

Allison brings 20+ years of experience in health care training, advertising, and communications to her role at Flywheel. Throughout much of that time, she has served as the project manager and account manager for large and small pharmaceutical and biotech clients—responsible for every aspect of a project from kickoff to post-meeting sustainability. Allison has managed launch and POA workshops and print and eLearning programs for a variety of clients in areas such as oncology, rare diseases, neurology, market access, and selling skills. Her attention to detail and “eagle eye” make Allison an asset on every project she touches.

Cornell enjoys applying his diverse background in business, instructional design, scientific research, and clinical medicine to his current role, working with clients to develop unique and thoughtful training solutions for their sales teams. The 10+ years of experience that he brings to his work at Flywheel include designing curricula for 2 nonprofit organizations that he cofounded, spearheading the development of a patented microfluidics device for cancer research, and logging thousands of hours of clinical experience alongside 2 years of medical school before transitioning into his current career.
